Despite the installation of speed cushions in 2016 on the 200 block of W. Evergreen Avenue, motorists continue to ignore and defy the speed limit of 25 mph on this on-way side street. The morning rush is the worst between 730AM and 9AM. Vehicles speed down this street at 40-45 mph and don't bother to slow down for the speed cushions. To be fair, the cushions are only about 50%-60% effective at reducing excessive speed. Add to that, vehicles sometimes choose not to circle the block and defy the ONE-WAY signs and to travel east on this one-way westbound street. These are extremely dangerous conditions. I request traffic monitoring on the 100 and 200 blocks of West Evergreen Avenue and ticketing the offenders.
