HILL NORTH - This is what residential segregation looks like..It is sometimes insidous and sometimes, like now it is obvious. As of this a.m., we are unable to get out of here via any transportation whatsoever because of the recent snow fall. Emergency vehicles will not be able to get down the street, neither will school buses, cars, anything that has tires. Those of us who use wheelchairs and canes are out of luck. I cant anywhere near a store, even the creepy one on the corner! Should anyone need emergency services they are very unfortunate.

Career High refuses to shovel this part of THEIR sidewalk!!!

Cars parked on ODD numbered side of the street. Covered in snow. Also parked too close to the corner. Should we ever get plowed out, the plow wont be able to do their work!!

Has not seen a plow since last night and only then was a single pass down the middle of the street.

There is no bus shelter on this block. There is nothing to give anyone on the entire block shelter from the weather!!

The short block of Elliot St. connected to Career High is not cleared of snow. There is one narrow way to get from one end of the street to the other. Until the snow is cleared buses should NOT be allowed to drive down this block!!! The buses can easily use Orchard St. It is too tight. As cars are not able to park close to their homes there isn't enough room!

The crosswalks on this intersection have not been cleared. The elderly, disabled, those who have difficulty walking have no way to get from one side of the street to the other. Thanks!

THe Parks Dept. won't let us have aplayground for our kids at Career High. She says there are others in the area. So our little kids have to cross Sylvan (No crosswalks or signals) to walk @ 1/2 mile to nearest playground! It's dangerous and easily fixed but Parks Dept. doesnt see solutions only problems. She says budget problems, I say cut your salary and problem solved!

There are no walk signals on any block of Sylvan other than Orchard St. We need walk signals! THe Parks Dept. won't give us a playground and our kids have to get traffic slowed so they can cross the street and walk 1/ mile to the local playground!!!

The lights on this block of Elliot dont go on until after 6:30. It has been dark for several hours by then. C an they be fixed to reflect the time change? It is very dark on this block!

Property has been foreclosed and former owners have moved out. However, there is now someone living on the 3rd floor. THere are also various visitors.

#93 Elliot St. instead of taking the trash to the curb on the correct day, moves their garbage to the sidewalk across from Career High Schools parking lot. The disgusting garbage from the overflowing bin gets thrown tossed around all over the place!

OVERFLOWING GARBAGE At Career High ..blocking the sidewalk and continues down to Orchard St.
LCI says it has already been reported but 2 weeks later and it is still here!!!
