Description

Fire hydrant on corner of Elm and West Park is leaking a steady stream of water. Aren't we in a drought situation in New Haven? (See RWA story in The Independant)

The problem was resolved. Not because SeeClickFix helped. No one from the fire dept or any other dept responded. it was resolved because I spoke to our neighborhood police officer and he got someone to take care of it--after 1000's of gallons of water went wasted

Denise, while the RWA does not own or maintain hydrants in the City of New Haven, we notify the fire department when we see any SCF comment about a hydrant as a courtesy. It's in everyone's best interest to fix these issues quickly, especially in a drought! Thank you for reporting the issue.
